Sales and Helpdesk Co-ordinator
at NTC Global in Stellenbosch
Area is Stellenbosch, Techno Park.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Office Administrator
- Sales process management including customer quotations & follow up on all leads
- Liaise with suppliers, ensuring best prices and delivery
- Liaise with technical director to ensure correct technologies are applied
- general office admin, including filing of all company documentation, including but not limited to licences, Contracts both electronically and physically
- Upkeep of client database
- Mail collection (scan and forward bills to sales Director for payment if applicable & deposit cheques)
- Stock management and control
- Debtor Invoicing
Technical Desk
- Management of Technical Help Desk incl. call logging
- Management of technical staff incl. Outlook calendar scheduling of all staff and vehicles
- Maintain NTC customer database & customer records (technical)
- Maintain SMC spread sheet for Callouts
- Assist Clients / staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software.
- Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
- Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software.
- Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases
- Orders computer supplies
- Maintain telephone system
- Other duties as required
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
- 1 -2 years experience supporting Windows 2000, XP windows 7 desktop/laptop PCs –(Server Knowledge will be advantageous) NT4 / 2000 / 2003 / 2008 and SBS
- Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both
- Desktop / laptop and Server PCs
- Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops, Servers
- Experience troubleshooting network, software, printing problems
- Customer Service Experience a must
- Experience in an office management scenario.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
- A+ N+
- MCSE – advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of Outlook Express & Microsoft Outlook
- Dial Up & ADSL / ISDN
- Understanding IP DNS and Routing - Advantageous
- Remote Desktop Connectivity Knowledge
- Customer Service Experience a must.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Valid Driver’s License / Own Reliable Transport
- Fluent English / Afrikaans (Read / Write / Speak)
- Self Motivated and Self Managed
- Ability to master new skills and concepts quickly
- Good organizing skills
Salary (R8k – 12k) will be determined by skills and qualification
